Hi, I am interested in hearing ideas on backorder management / rescheduling from this group. SAP offers the standard sorting and ATP assignment by delivery priority and dates. But there must be other ways to prioritize stock commitment to schedule lines. For example, we may use CMIR delivery priority over customer delivery priority. Maybe we want to commit stock to a customer who provides a higher profit margin as per the pricing on the sales order.
I am sure there are other variations out there with or without changing user exits.
