PPM 6.1: Earliest Start and Finish Dates on the Tasks Dashboard

Hello Everyone,

Is it by design that earliest start and finish date fields are not available on the tasks dashboard?. I can view these these fields when I navigate to confirm the tasks.

Is it possible to make these fields available on the tasks dashboard without the development?.

Hi Mohan,

yes, in accordance with the program design, not all task fields are included in the task dashboard in the standard (the same is true also for other dashboards e.g. the project dashboard).

In order to add additional fields (like Earliest/Latest Start/Finish date) to the dashboard, you must follow the steps which are documented in SAP Note 971394.

You must also ensure that the relevant fields are included in the extract layout which is assigned to to the relevant project type (e.g. layout 0_DASHBOARD which is part of the standard customizing) and that the evaluation for the projects is carried out (check 'Project Type' customizing). Alternatively you can trigger the evaluation manually in the background by running report DPR_EVE_BATCH_DPO for the project.
