We have some PENDING report instances that are dependent upon TXT files that are created by an Oracle process on a different physical server - which is monitored by the BOE servers using a UNC-path.
This all works fine, except when the various servers are rebooted for monthly "Microsoft Security Patches".
Depending on the order that the various servers come back up - the PENDING report instances can be triggered when the server referenced in the UNC-path comes up.
As a workaround, we are PAUSING all the PENDING instances before the "Microsoft Security Patches" are deployed on the various servers - and then RELEASING them when they are completed.
Anyone else had this problem - and have a different / better solution...?
