Hai Friends

Requirement is to maintain Religion wise Holiday Calendar, (Ex: Hindhu Calendar,Christian and Muslim)

for one particular Personnel Area,I know its not possible to have diffrent holiday calendar for one workshedule, but I wish to confirm is there anyother possible ways to map through development or standard suugestion that I can give.

To do this,you can define holidays with different holiday classes,for example Holiday class1 for Hindu calaendar,3 for Christian,4 for Muslim or so on.(Leave Holiday class 2 for half day holidays).

2.define Day type selection rules for each religion seperately.

3.Define different work schedules for each religion seperately and assign these day type selection rules to them.

In this way you can have the same holiday calendar for all the religions.

for clarification,Holiday calendar should be unique for Personnel sub area,not for work shcedule.So here all the work schedules would have the same calendar but Day type selection rule would be different.

Hi

In your requirement you need to make different Work schedules based on the religion and which ever religion employee is having just mapp that WS with the PERNR. This will increase the maintenance work load in future also when soem holidays got changed and generation of WS's.
