mkt on Premise: ACTION PARAMETER implements long text, search help, and mandatory control

Hi,experts:

I have added a custom action to the campaign app,and Added extension fields by method：IF_CUAN_MKT_EXEC_ACTION_PARAM~SET_ACTION_PARAMETER.

but these fields seem to default to mandatory. Is there a place to set the mandatory properties of the extended field, long text, and even create search help？

Thank you very much. I added new entries in the tables CUANS_MKTORC_AP and CUANS_MKTORC_AC to implement the functions of mandatory and long text. Is there an expanded place to set up search help?

Hi,

Right now only 3 type of UI control is supported as listed:

TEXT --> Input Field

DDLB --> Drop Down List

AREA -> Comment field

Search help for custom action parameter is not supported as per my knowledge.

I’m sorry to disturb you again. You mentioned the setting of the drop-down box in the way of DDLB --> Drop Down List.

This is the form in which the field drop-down box is set in the table. Where do I go to set the value in the drop-down box?

Hi,

I think only standard values are customized in such a way. For custom scenario can you pls have a look at Open Channel implementation using Enhancement Spot: CUAN_CAMPAIGN_OPEN_CHANNEL. This is SAP Proposed way of doing the custom action set up.

For sample code you refer the default example BADI implemntation available

We have a integration running using this with Sales Force in our project.
