error when scheduling infopackage for PA_PA OEMPLOYEE

hi all,

when iam scheduling info package for OEMPLOYEE it is giving error like "0EMPLOYEE : Overlapping time intervals of data record 298 with 305 : '['20040831'/'20040324'] '[to/from] RSDMD 190 ".

iam unable to solve it.please help me in this issue.

Hi,

This is a problem of time overlapping. As this is a master data, if for the same employee, the date overlaps then it will show you this error. Let me explain with example..

EID Valid from Valid to

1001 01.01.1000 10.01.2009

1001 08.01.2009 31.12.9999

In the above case, the dates for EID 1001 is overlapping. When you load this data, it will show you the dates are ovelapping.

So, first correct the data into the saource i.e. record number 298 with 305 and then upload again..

This will solve your problem...

hi gupta,

in my case the date for infopackage is 10.06.2009 to 31.12.9999.in PSA the date for all records are showing 10.06.2009.how to change that.frankly i dont no how to solve it.please guide me with detaild steps.

Hi,

Use the option ignore duplicate records in the infopackage..

Hi Vamshi,

go to PSA area of the request and at the time of selecting the request also select "with status as erroneous records". It will show you only the records with error. Then analyse the overlapping date and correct the record by selecting one record at a time...

Hello there,

i 've the same problem in BI 7.0.

Message:

0EMPLOYEE : Overlapping time intervals of data record 1 with 296 : '['99991231'/'20020101'] '[to/from] RSDMD 190.

I tried to solve following your suggestions but it does not work.

Any suggestions, plz??

Hi Vamshi,

Check the records 298 and 305 there may be time overlapping with these two records

correct that and load
