Dear All,
I need to assign one Architectural Object (AO) to another. Those AOs are assigned to a Top Level Hierarchy.
The structure is like this:
Top Level Hierarchy: AO Top Level
AO Type 1
AO Type 2
AO Type 3
I need to relate AO Type 1 with AO Type 2. How to get this link on REBDAO "Assignment" tab? Both are assigned to AO Top Level.
I know that I need to configure the following to get the object relationship:-
REFX extension - RECAMENUDEV
1. V_TIVBDOBJASSTYP
2. V_TIVBDOBJASSUSE
3. V_TIVBDOBJTYPEAS
However, after those activities completed, I still unable to get the linkage in REBDAO - Assignment Tab.
Could anyone assist on this?
Thanks.

Hi Shamshul,
Can you please explain the scenariou2019s where you are using this..!!
As you are saying, the assignment should be on assignment tab.
please try this
Under RECACUST (SPRO)
goto node
Assignment of Objects from other compnents
Assign Functional location/Fixed Assets/Projects/CO Orders
here give object type and assignment Object type as "IO'.
Or
IF you want to assign Architectural Object to Architectural Object and not looking at Assignment tab then
goto Architectural View node
Define Allowed Object Type Hierarchy
Thanks

Dear Veman,
Here is the scenario.
I have configured the following:
Step 1 Create AO Type:
AOType Top Level HighLvlObjType
REGION /
CITY01 REGION
CITY02 REGION
CITY03 REGION
Step 2 Permitted Superordinates Object per AO Type
AOType HighLvlObjType Top Level
CITY01 REGION /
CITY02 REGION /
CITY03 REGION /
CITY02 is residing under CITY01. How do I create the link/assignment of CITY02 to CITY01? Do I need to create CITY01 as Top Level Object also? I did try this and the system says: The Object assignment is not correct.
Your input is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Example
Define Singapore Region (Top Level)
Singapore City 1
Singapore City 2 Lower Object to Singapore Region
Singapore City 3
Go to SPRO
Architectural View Node
Architectural Object Type
Define Allowed Object Type Hierarchy
Here
ArchObt Type Name of AO Type HiLevel ObJ Type HiLevel Object Type name Toplevel
City1 Singapore City 1 Region Singapore X
But Even here you can't assign in Assignment Tab.
Thanks
Veman
