Sometimes schedule does not deliver reports

Hello,

We have a problem with our schedule, sometimes reports does are not delivered I can´t find any error messages.

Any ideas ?

Hi Alex,

What is the schedule (hourly/daily/monthly) and what are you delivering it to. Is it Email or are you saving it to file.

Finally what version of BO are you on?

Hi,

Any kind of schedule are affected (hourly/daily/monthly) and the reports can be send per mail or saved to a file. I think that is the schedule at him self in any kinds of variations..

We are on BO XI R2.

In this instance I would be looking at your event viewer to see if there are any problems with your server. Also you might look at the instance manager or the report history to see if these reports are reported as failed or pending. Finally, do you have limits set on the folder, if so the reports might be created but deleted as the limits have been exceeded.

Hello,

in the instance manager the reports are marked as failed where can I see what the problem was?

Navigate CMC to the individual Report Object and click on HISTORY.

FInd the FAILED instance - and click on the text FAILED.

It will open the details of the Instance including the Error Message.

We also use the APOS Instance Manager tool to do this for large numbers of instances.
