Dear SAP Team,
I need help regarding the System sizing/Hardware requirement(RAM, Database size, cores and licenses related) for Installing SAP BO BI 4.2 SP3 platform in clustered environment for Production. The number of users will be around 1000 User's and 600 + Crystal Reports (Most of the Reports are Interactive Reports) are using Apart from crystal there is no other Report are using. To View the crystal reports we are using the java Application through JAVA SDK. Based on my requirement Please throw some light it.
I tried to get information from Sizing Estimator but I can not able to run the estimator and I can not able to get the proper information from any of the resources available in portal. Please somebody help me on this and I will try to get some knowledge towards Implementation it would be great helpful to us.
We want to use:
- Business Objects Version (SP Level): BI 4.2
-Service pack/Fix Packs/Patch (check in Add/Remove Programs): SP 3
- System Type : Production
- Deployment (Standalone/Clustered): clustered(2nodes)
- Server OS (SP Level): Solaris 11.3
- Application Server (IIS/Tomcat/Others): IBM WebSphere 8.5.5
- Authentication type: Enterprise
- CMS database: Oracle 12 c
Please help me on this .

For Hardware and software requirements you can also check PAM Guide.
There is separate page for Hardware and software as per OS.

You need to refer SAP Business Objects Sizing guide as shared by Vamshidhar, also need to understand other areas.
(a) CMS
(b) Adaptive Job Server
(c) Crystal Report Processing Server
(d) Crystal Report Cache Server
(e) Report Application server
Also please check below configuration status
(a) Audit
(b) Platform Search
(c) Log Level setting by default it was Unspecified or Low
(d) Instance Limit
Note:- All above points are applicable only once your SAPS value is already decided, for SAPS value please refer sizing guide.
