Hi,
PPOMA_BBP for a user shows no errors........but BP for a user has NO relationship.
Hence he cannot shop.
How do I debug/fix the issue?

Perhaps that user doesn't have a business partner yet. Try to generate one in tcode USERS_GEN.

Hi RE,
BP is present for both user and Organization. They show related in PPOMA_BBP.
In HRALXSYNC Org Unit shows warning "Update Required" ..when I fix it shows fixed temporarily and is back to warning message "Update Required"
For user ...Business partner for user NNN is missing or contains errors......and I do not know how to fix it.

No the issue still exists for some users.
Our SRM 5.0 HR data is fed from ECC using ALE.
We sometimes have issues where a user is not linked to his/her Position.
So we manually assign them.
Questions
1. Why does this happen? (user is not linked to his/her Position.)
2. Does manual fix cause issues like SRM system will ignore certain updates if the record is manually updated locally in SRM.
3. What is best way to fix such issues?
All I am doing is linking users to their positions

Hi Nikhil,
I think this happens when the pa records for the user is not created in correct order. You will basically have to check the pa records via pa20 for IT0001 org assignment and check the start and end date and changed date,usually the hr guys create an assignment sitting in the current date for a past period, note not a future period and this when is distributed into srm it makes a mess and all the relationshi goes haywire.try to pfal it sometimes it works and sometime it does'nt. then compare it with the same in srm via po13 as well.
check for the most recent assignment in ecc and then check in srm via bp relationship to which org node this bp is assigned.
see if its the same in ecc.
run bbp_om_integrate.
currently iam not in front of the system bt can let you know exactly if need any further help.
