Hope you can help with our issue here.
We're encountering an error while generating a PDF form (built using Adobe LifeCycle Designer) with content fetching data from survey answer (as a text box). In our scenario, user can fill input (as long text) in a survey made available in a visit, typically their input is longer than 255 characters, and the visit can be saved successfully. However, when generating a PDF summary, the system raised an error message
"NO PDF Found.
XML transformation failed.
Output Service processor error.
Mandatory parameter form xml data is missing."
An incident has been raised to SAP, who has suggested that the Ans in survey has type LANGUAGEINDEPENDENT_EXTENDED_text in SAP Cloud App Studio, which is length restricted to 255char, and said if we wanted, we have to change to the data type ourselves to make it work.
We're not sure if we could/should change this seemingly standard data type for generic survey answer, and to what data type it should then be, to be able to accommodate long tex string.
Anyone has experienced this issue or any idea on how this could/should be resolved, please advise. Much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
