User Loose access if their LDAP account is changed

We have used LDAP (Aactive Directory Services) for the User Store in our Portal.

Whenever we make a change in ADS e.g. updating the Organization Unit, users in EP loose all their access. They are not assigned to any roles etc.

Does any one has come accross this problem and have a solution.
