Tab level restriction in PS

Hi all,

I need change access to one tab and display access to rest of the tabs in network and activity level of Project Builder (CJ20N). Is this kind of restriction possible for Projects?

Thanks for the reply.

But you are talking from High level restriction at Network and Activity. I need restriction in tabs at activity level. eg: In Activity tab, I need change access to 'Internal' Tab and display access to all other tabs like External, Dates, assignment etc.

The object you mentioned controls at Network and Activity at high level but not field level. eg: If I give display access to these objects then all the tabs inside network/activity comes in display mode. I didnt find any object which controls it tabwise. Is there any setting in Config?

I guess it is not possible in SAP to provide tab wise access in CJ20N or some other Tcode.

Hi SM,

You can restrict access to Users for Network Activities, but not only specific to CJ20N transaction, it effects in all transactions related to Network activities like CN22, CN23...and in other reports as well.

regarding providing access to Network Activities, below mentioned are the Authorizatioin Objects where you can create specific roles as per authorization requirement.

C_AFKO_DIS - Network: MRP Group (Plant) and Tra and TRTYP - Transaction Type.

C_AFVG_TYP - PS: Activity types for network act and PS_ACTVT - Activity for authorization checks.

for the above Authorization Objects you can restrict Users on Specific business transactions like Create, change, display, Enter actual dates, Carry out time scheduling,Display dates, Carry out cost planning, Display costs ans so on.....
