Migrate historic IT0000 & IT0001

Dear all,

How to migrate historic infotype 0000 & 0001 data , thanks a lot.

We can upload the data from the employees hiring date we should have data in desired format then we can upload it.

Let say Hiring we should have a template to capture Hiring information and same can be uploaded through LSMW/BDC Important thing is validity dates should be correct.

Lets assume after hiring -Transfer - We should have data in one template which should holds the information pertaining to transfers then same can be uploaded with LSMW/BDC with validity periods.

0000 is always delimits the previous record and creates a new record so there won't be a major challenge only thing we should have data in desired format and we should follow the sequence of steps.

Another challenge is there are more IT0001 records than IT0000,

and usually we prepare LSMW/BDC data with IT0000 & IT0001 in one record.

Can we apply other solutions other than LSMW/BDC?

Have you consulted with your ABAP ressource?

Are you talking of all Actions and Assignments since the company started, since the actual employees were hired, or for the past year or two?

What is the Validity Start Date of your Org.Units, Positions and other required OM Objects in relation to the Assignments (IT0001) you want to create?

Have you done your initial GO-LIVE yet?

Dear,

Yes, I'm talking actions and Assignments since the company started. actually we're doing system migration.

System doesn't go-live, Validity Start Date of all the objects keep unchanged.
