Error in Executing Query

HI Genius,

I have designed on MDX Query. That Query is working in Crystal Report.

I have successfully exported universe from this query.

Now I want to use this universe in Query As A Web Service. I found universe of this query in QaawS.

I am able to see their fields in Build your Qurey Screen. While I am trying to give next step I am getting below error:

getDocumentInformation exception(Error: WIS 10901)

A database error occured. The database error text is: The MDX query SELECT { D5272819TYMKSLULVBEJECDFM.D56FMXBBON4I2150PKSHY65TU} ON COLUMNS, NON EMPTY D5271SCO6VP1B3P598D4OMO2. MEMBERS ON ROWS FROM OFIGL_C10/ZIDHA_pnl_REP1 failed to execute with the error See RFC trace file or SAP system log for more details. (WIS 10901)

Please help me ASAP.

Hello Rishit ,

can you execute the underlying BI query in transaction RSRT or in Bex Analyzer without any issues ?

Can you create a Web Intelligence report on top of the Universe ?

Yes, its working fine in RSRT in BEX Anlayzer. Even from that Query, i have made crystal report also.

But, it giving me same error in Webi.

I have never used MDXTEST before this.

Whie I am Copying & Pasting above statement it gives me "Invalid MDX Query" Message. Even i have tried by drag and drop filed of query into editor then it gives me same error.

download the ZIP file form the link:

Unzip it, merge the registry on your Businessobjects Server.

then you need to restart the services for Web Intelligence or just restart the Server Intelligent Agent.

After that try to build your Web Intelligence report. You should find 2 log files (MDX and SOFA) directly on the root of drive c:\

Actuly while i am running this qury in BEx Anaylzer, it prompts me for entering fiscal year period. While designing of universe and webi, it doesn't show any kind of prompt for fiscal year.

In Filter section there are 2 sub section i hope. Characteristic Restrictions and Default Values. If the prompt defined in Default value section move that over to characteristic restrictions.

Then do a refresh structure for universe. In condition section you should see the fiscal year period variable.

the variable from the BW query needs to be either in the rows or columns or free characteristics. in the default values it won't come through properly.
