Release Date (FRGDT) in table EBAN

1795 Views

Hello!

I have a question regarding the process on how the fields BADAT and FRGDT in EBAN are being filled. This is because we are trying to display a report which displays both the Request date and Release date. I have observed that there are instances where the release date is earlier compared to the request date (i.e. Request date is May 02, 2009 and Release Date is April 19, 2009 and Delivery date is May 12, 2009.) A fellow programmer told me that the release date is input from a calculation that is similar to this:

Delivery date - GR processing time - Planned delivery time - Purchasing dept processing time = Released date

Is this the SAP standard way of input for FRGDT? If so, is the formula standard?

Are there other tables where the ACTUAL (not calculated) release date is stored?

Thank you very much.
