Error in Delivery Creation : Shipping is not allowed for Sales Org XXXX

Dear Experts,

While I am trying to create delivery, I am getting the following error "Shipping is not allowed for sales organization XXXX and distribution channel AA from plant YYYY"

Procedure :

You can display the allowed sales organizations and distribution

channels for shipping from plant 8980 in Customizing, if you have the

necessary authorization.

Please let me know the customization path for accessing the settings in customization related to this error.

Hi Prashanth,

Thank you for your revert. I have already checked this point. Now the issue is the link from the Shipping point to the Sales Order / Disbribution channel. And this Sales Org / Dist Channel combination is allowed for shipping or not in a given plant.

Can you through some pointers on this

Hi Friend,

This may be the issue with the SHIPPING POINT DETERMINATION

For this Goto the transaction OVL2 and maintain the shipping point for the combination of the

PLANT + LOADING GROUP + SHIPPING CONDITIONS

Plant will appear from the sales order

Loading group from the material master Sales/General plant data view

Shipping conditions are from either the customer master or sales document type.

PATH :IMG->LOGISTICS EXECTION->SHIPPING->BASIC SHIPPING FNCTIONS->ASSIGN SHIPPING POINTS.

Both transaction & path are leading to the same customization for shipping point determination. Can you please tell me the link of the Shipping point to the Sales Org / Distribution Channel. Is it only the indirect link of

Sales Org + DC -

Plant + SC + LG -

---

>Shipping Point

or any other assignment exists?

Actually ours is a decentralized Warehouse setup. When we post Goods Issue using 555 movement type, system to create delivery in the backend and thring the error

Hi

Please check right combination of sales org + Dis channel + plant has been made.

This is done under customization-enterprise str-assignment-sales & distribution.

Please make right combination and then try to create delivery again.

Have you maintained and assisgned your shipping point to combination of plant, loading group and shipping conditions in LE> SHIPPING>BASIC SHIPPING FUNCTIONS>SHIPPING POINT AND RECEIVING POINT DETERMINATION> ASSIGN SHIPPING POINTS?

Hi Rama,

As far as assignments are concerned primarily under standard system without WM functionality the assignments are only what you have rightly mentioned as:

plant> sales org and DC and

shipping point= shipping conditions+ loading group + plant

But in case u r using WM functionality also then u need to assign your combinatio of plant and SL to your warehouse in LE. Have u defined and assigned these?
