Cannot find a field in Vendor Account Group

Hello SAP colleagues,

I am configuring the vendor account group (via tx OMSG), and there are some fields which are not available here. Example: Planning calendar (MRPPP), which is a field existing in the tables LFM1 and LFM2, is not shown in OMSG. How can I control if it is display, hidden, optional or mandatory? It happens with other fields too.

Hi,

As per my awareness, planning calendar can be created only at plant level (not at vendor level). It is not having much use in ECC. But may be used in APO or other industry specific functionality. So it might not be included in FSG of vendor account group.

Hello Bala,

Thank you for your input. You are right, but that is why I want to hide it. Currently, that field appears in the Business Partner role screen. My Business PArtner role is synchornized with my vendor account group, and in order to make it disappear, I have to include it in the vendor account group and mark it as "Hide". But the problem is that I do not know how to add it in the vendor account group.

Hi,

I don't know how to hide this specific field in BP. But for authorization control, you can try with tcodes OBAT (define field groups for vendor master data) & OBAU (Group fields for vendor master records). Here you can create a new group in OBAT and assign the required field in OBAU in that group. Then you can control the entry of the required field with authorzation object F_LFA1_AEN. You may try with this (check with your Basis Security team).
