Selection of output type in PS Reports

Hi Gurus,

In IDES, When we execute any "S_ALR_8*" reports, in the initial screen there is one "Ouput type" subscreen area available through which one can select whether the report should be displayed in "Graphical report-ouput" or "Classic drilldown" whereas in development client this is not available. Is there any setting to be done so that this scubscreen area could be visible ?

Hi,

you can set report output type subscreen by using tcode CJE2

click on your report related form for ex.12KST1C

then follow menu path

Drilldown report > Change > continue (ignore messg)

see on right side of screen, click on Output Type Tab

here you can choose output type & layout

save

Goto SPRO->PS->Information System->Costs/revenue info system->Hierarchy report->maintain report->change report..

Then select your report and check the "Available on selection screen" and save the report.

Then from the menu bar Drilldown report->generate ...

This will reflect your changes in the report for the output type.

Hi Vinod,

As told by Mr. Sandeep you make default setting of output display for each form in output type, in T-Code CJE2.

If you want the output selection type on selection screen to choose in which format, you want system to display output, you have to select check box - available on selection screen option for the form for that report.
