Error while creating evaluation on S4HANA Cloud

Hi,

We are currently evaluating the S4hana cloud. I have been trying to create an embedded analytics KPI tile, however, I am unable to move beyond the Create Evaluation Step. The error message is also ambiguous (Error while saving Evaluation: An Exception was raised). I checked the chrome developer tools and the message is not clear there either.

I talked to the Basis team but they tell me the do not have a backend into the cloud to check this error. Could anyone please advise how to resolve the above?

Hi Vinayak,

Can you give us a step by step scenario so we could reproduce the issue on our end?

Also, in order to better understand the Embedded Analytics capabilities, I suggest you should have a look at the Configuration Guide in Best Practices Scope 2P6.

It was an authorization issue. It has been resolved with the help of SAP support team

Hello Bunie,

Please raise an OSS note to the SAP support with a step by step procedure you are following and they would be able to resolve it for you. It was a similar case for me. Since it is cloud, there is not much control with us.
