How to select WBS element of Level2 on Report Painter

Dear PS Masters.

I made project which has 3 levels.

I want to see the result of only level 2

on the report of report painter.

However, when I select WBS element of level 2,

the report shows level2 and level3 together.

So, I want to exclude the result of level3 from the report.

In order to solve it,

I tried to uncheck the checkbox of "INCL.HIERARCHY" on Database Profile.

But, even though I uncheck it on IMG, SAP check the checkbox automatically again.

Pls give your advice.

Hi,

Execute the report and select hierarchy selection "button"

from which you can set the level of the display.

Say for e.g you have execute the report with project definition criteria

level 1 is proj def ;level 2 will be "WBSE level 1".

But, I coundn't find the "hierarchy button" in the report.

So, could you let me know the report's name which I can find the hierarchy button?

Hi,

i was refering to the general reports for costs,structures.

by the way which report you are looking for ??.

Can you specify the report for better understanding

Actually, the report which I really want to use is not standard report,

but my own report that I created on Report Painter.

So, if you know how to add hierarchy button on the own report,

it would be nice.

Hi,

The reports you have created using REport Painter will be executed using CJE0 or they should have their own Txn. What ever the case, you get into the report, click on Hierarchy button, click on Set level and select level 2, this would show all level 2 wbs elments. This is possible only if you execute your report for whole project or else it would show the 2 levels below the WBS you have selected.

On the report of CJE0, I could find the hierarchy button.

This is the one what I want!!

But, I'm wondering that how can I show this button on the

report which I made by report painter GRR2.

Pls give advice.

Hi,

Which report group you are trying to use? Unless there is hierarchy involved, the hierarchy button won't show up.
