We developed a custom build JAVA application using the PROXY framework for PI/XI integration. These JAVA proxies are used to be created from PI 7.0/XI3.0 Integration Builder Repository Tool. Per SAP in PI 7.1, we can create proxies in 2 ways. 1. the same old way from Repository and 2 from NWDS. The option 1 will only to be used to create existing JAVA proxies (compatible with PI 7.0 - SAP JAVA 1.4 ). For all new development, the proxies should be created from NWDS. I installed NWDS CE 7.1 SP07 Patch 003 and configured to connect PI system. I am not seeing an option to create JAVA proxy from NWDS. Can one of you help me how to create JAVA proxy from NWDS. Thanks in Advance.
Hi Ravi!
I suggest that you create a Composite Application for this purpose. In such an application there is an "external" folder to which you can import RFCs and web services. For these imported interfaces the NWDS will generate the proxies your are searching for.
Best regards
Alexander
