SQL Code for Where-Used List option in SAP HANA

Hi All,

Can you please help to provide the query for below option:

In SAP HANA studio for the graphical views we have option called "Where used list", which is useful to know "exactly where the particular view been used in other views or Analytical privileges".

Example : I have view one view CV_SALES it's consumed in CV_DELIVERY, CV_SALE_YEARLY & CV_DELIVERY_ORDER.. etc. Now I want to run the SQL query which gives me the CV_DELIVERY, CV_SALE_YEARLY & CV_DELIVERY_ORDER views list. In this way I want to find out for 70 views, where and all these views been used.

Thanks in advance,

As you are using XS Classic (because you are saying that you are using HANA Studio), you can check table "_SYS_REPO"."ACTIVE_OBJECT_CROSSREF" (for active objects). With restrictions on the following columns (if required) you can find out what you need:

    - FROM_OBJECT_NAME: object using another object (e.g. your CV_DELIVERY)

    - FROM_OBJECT_SUFFIX: suffix of from object (e.g. calculationview)

    - TO_OBJECT_NAME: object used by another object (e.g. your CV_SALES)

    - TO_OBJECT_SUFFIX: suffix of to object (e.g. calculationview).

PS: By the way, this kind of question was already asked and answered several time. A quick search should have produced results for you :)
