ATP status from Partner company

Hello,

I am working on setting up Multi companies in SAP ByDesign and success on Intercompany process. But I want to check on the scenario of Buyer Company "A" create Sales Order and ATP showing availability status of Seller Company "B" inventory.

Please advise if the scenario is possible on ByD.

I believe this scenario implies to Intercompany process itself in Business By Design .

Thank you for your reply.

I have done this process but I am checking further scenario that ATP of Buyer company check to Planning Area of Seller company in Sales Order if Buyer company has no stock and always purchase from Sell company stock.

Hi Toom,

Unfortunately it's not possible to perform an ATP check across companies with the current standard functionalities.

When creating a sales order with external fulfilment sourced from another company in ByD the system will always use the supplier lead time, as defined in the material master.

I would recommend to create an idea in the influence forum, so it might get considered for future releases. I would definetly vote for it!

Alternatively you could think about a PDI/partner development that would call a webservice ProductAvailabilityDeterminationIn and would display it in the Sales Order. However that webservice doesn't exactly behave as the native ATP functionality, but it would be better than nothing 🙂
