The above ans is correct this is what is means 11 digits and 2 decimals places

Thanks a lot for quick response!

If v_var is type p(8) decimals 3.

Is the 11 already the total number of integers inlcuding the decimal point?

v_var =12345678.060

but in sapscript it is displaying as *345378.060

Hi,

This should not happen, but define your variable as v_var as type p(11) decimals 3.

Generally in SAPscript whenever the length is less it displays with * so check this.
