LCMCLI not started in cluster BI platform

Hello Experts

i have been struggling with a weird problem trying to import lcmbiar throught the LCM command line.

We have a SAP BI 4.1 SP6 cluster on two linux boxes with CMS server running on each box.

When i try to import lcmbiar running lcmcli script, the job get created but never starts most of the time (it displays a "created" status in CMC and never moves to running).

the weird thing is if i stop the CMS server on one of the two nodes before running the lci command, the job runs normally.

any idea what would explain this behaviour ?

Try stopping and disabling the Adaptive Processing Server that runs Promotion Management (assuming you've split up the APS) on one server. I've seen issues sometimes when there are two of them running at the same time.

i've already tried stopping disabling all servers except CMS on the second node but issue still occurs. thried also isolating lcm services on dedicated APS server

the only configuration which seems to trigger the problem is when the two cms servers are running

1 cms running on the cluster : the jobs runs sucessfully evrytime i try

2 cms running on the cluster : the jobs runs successfully 1 try out of 10 and stays to created status 9 try out of 10
