HELLO, I want to create a report in SAP BPC using excel. I have 4 type of activities in in Dimensions Type of activity : 1 - 2 - 3 and 4. And each type of activity has his own services in the Dimension ENTITY . For instance the type of activity 1 has 15 differents services; the 2 has 12; the 3 has 5 and the 4 has 8. When I choose the type of activity 1, I want only his services to be displayed.

Hi Serge,

Your description is quite confusing.....but you have 2 dimensions....Activity dimension and Entity dimension...So you want to link the activities to the services in the Entity dimension? This is what you require? You can create a property in Entity dimension for activities, and link them...

Then for reporting use EPM function Dimension override or Link to property from Edit Report.....

Refer to this EPM guide for more information....

I have many dimensions , I have Dimension Entity, Activity,Type of avtivity, Project, Account, Period and so on. I want to create a report by using the 2 dimensions, Entity and type of activity. In Entity I have the different services which to each type of activity. I have 4 type of activities in Dimensions Type of activity : 1 - 2 - 3 and 4. IN dimension Entity I have differents services like 01-14; 01-13; 01-12; 01-10

In the type of activity 1 I have these services: 01-14; 01-13; 01-12; 01-11; 01-10; 01-09; 01-08; 01-07

In the type of activity 2 I have these services: 01-08; 01-07; 02-04; 02-05; 02-09; 02-12

In the type of activity 3 I have these services: 02-11; 02-14; 02-15; 02-06

In the type of activity 4 I have these services:02-17; 02-01; 02-15; 01-14; 01-13

for the cell of type of activity I create this formula : EPMContextMember(;"TYPE_ACTIVITE";"PARENTH2=G1") . G1 is composed of 1; 2; 3 and 4

For the cell of services, I want to have this. When I chose type of activity 1, I want all the services which belong to 1 to be displayed.

Ok...understood! As I said in my earlier reply..create a property named Activity in Entity dimension and save the type of activity related to that service! Now....using epmdimension overrride function pass the filter of activiy to entity dimension using the epmcontext member cell reference selected by the user!

For e.g

Service Activity

01-14 1

01-08 2

Refer this https://blogs.sap.com/2015/02/18/dimension-override-based-on-dynamic-selection-with-multiple-properties/

and many more on scn!

JP

Just to add:

If you use TYPE_ACTIVITE in the row axis of your report (in addition to ENTITY) you can establish relation: TYPE_ACTIVITE member will be delivered from the property of ENTITY member.
