Add Components to Production order BOM

Dear Friends,

We have a requirement to add componets to production order BOM based on the conditions.

Some common componets are already copied from material BOM.

Please guide me how to do that,

I have done this in workaround delete BOM in material and recreate material BOM, before creating production order.

Hello

There is no standard BAPI to change production order components.

In the past, a BAPI to change maintenance orders was used for this purpose, but SAP now prevents this usage, as the BAPI was not originally created and tested for this purpose. If you really need to use it, then SAP provides a modification note that would allow you to use this PM BAPI to change production orders. See the thread below for details:

Do you mean, you have to add some components in a production order ?

Components that were already part of BOM got copied in production order and you want to add some more components?

If yes, you can do that in change order CO02, go to components tab and add required components.
