SM37 Back Job scheduling

Former Member

Hi Team,

There are two jobs will automatically run on every month 13th, 20th and 27th.

Now the user requirement is to stop these two jobs on June 13, 20 and 27 (that means not to run on these dates and next month they can be run as ususal).

Can some one explain how this can be done? is there any settings need to be made via SM37.

Quick responces will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Veena,

Thanks for your kind reply.

The job status is released and we want to stop the job on June 13, 20 and 27. In fact these jobs will be executed on a weekly basis on every sunday.

From July4th, these jobs can be executed as per the schedule. Please advise how to stop the jobs on the above dates. Do i need to delete the above job and reschedule it as new job from start date as July4th?

Thanks

Hi,

Since this is a periodic job (monthly job), I think basis can put the job on hold on June 13, 20 and 27, allowing the job not to run. Alternatively you can delete the job from SM37 say on June 11 or 12th and schedule it again through SM36 in July to run periodically.
