PR Release strategy

Dear All,

For PR release, i created to characteristics user name and document type, created class for pr release and assigned both the chars into this class.

group also created and class assinged in that group.

but release is not effecting when i create PR, please help me to solve the issue.

Hi William ,

At first check the release strategy for errors in customising .

For the user name you need to take care the following :

Eg : Via the customer exit M06B0002 ( item-wise release) and M06B0005 ( overall release), you can then include in the communication structure data that is not included in the structure in the standard system.

Example

The responsible cost center manager is to be determined for a cost center in the purchase requisition. This data is read fom the cost center master record, inserted in the field USRC1, and passed on to the communication structure CEBAN.

Please follow the below steps :

Deletion of release strategies:

In tables T16FK, T16FV, T16FS, T16FC and T16FG, there may be entries from previous Customizing settings (for example, old release groups) that were indeed deleted from Customizing, but not deleted from the tables.

This creates an inconsistency.

To eliminate the inconsistency, proceed as follows:

Make all the deleted release settings in Customizing again, save them, and then delete them in the following sequence:

1. Delete the release strategies

2. Delete the release indicators

3. Delete the release codes

4. Delete the release group

5. Delete the class (Transaction CL02), if a new one was created for the new release strategy.

Then use transaction SE16 to check whether the entries in the tables mentioned above were deleted.

Execute the report in Customizing (transaction OMGQCK or OMGSCK) and ensure that the system does not display any red traffic lights.

Hi

have you maintained values in charact, then type.

Please check in CL30N whether you have configured everything.

if you have configured then you can see some / few hits found otherwise you need to revisit confirguration again
