Dear Solman

it is true that SPAU allows you to adjust standard program, function modules, function groups, etcc.. after upgrade.

in SPAU all the objects are listed similary like SPDD(dictionary objects).

now suppose in some of the standard program your abaper are added some parts of code as per the requirment now those part of code should be available in Upgraded version also.like you have added code in lower version

****Begin of insertion.

***end of insertion.

in a object listed on SPAU transaction check for Custom modified and if it is missing in upgraded version just add those codes.

and as per my knowledge when you click on corresponding traffic light it will open Split screen editor and there is one Push button on right top which will observe the changes .

hope this will helpfull for u.

Hi

SPAU and SPDD modifications comes when you have done some changes in standard functionality e.g. dictionay objects etc.

In SPDD and SPAU, you can do 2 things whether you want to retain your changes or accept new version.

It is neccessary make changes for all the programs in SPAU , Kindly advice me .

In this thing its totally depend you whether you want to keep your old changes or accept new version. But keep in mind if you have acceptd new version then data related to old version will be lost.

I will advice you take help from functional consultant or development colleagues because it is somethinfg business will decide.

Thanks

Sunny
