Option Add Dynamic Calculation for end user

Hi all.

I do have a problem with regard to the options "Add Dynamic Option" and "Calculate Totals As" within the context menu.

The end user (using BI 4.1) sees these options in some reports, but not in all.

Is there a setting somewhere that the end user gets theses options displayed?

Hi Christian,

Is there a difference between data sources in these reports? For example, do some Crosstabs use BW BEx Query data sources while others use Universes or HANA Views? If I recall correctly, some run-time calculation options are not available for Universe data sources.

Hi Mustafa.

No, just one data source (BEx Query). Maybey it is caused due to the data based on CO-PA.

The report should show:

Columns: Actual 2018, Actual 2017, Difference in EUR and %, Plan 2018 and so on.

Lines: Costcenter hierarchy

(Sorry to not view a screenshot)

Somebody told me, that special conditions must be fulfilled to show this context menu. But I could not find anything.

These calculations options are displayed on crosstabs, but only in some reports and not in all reports.

I am just looking for crosstabs.

Christian - are you seeing the calculation on certain components such as crosstabs and not others?
