Hi All,
Working on 4.2 SP5 environment.
Have a Webi report based on multiple data sources which is BEx. Prompts are merged.
When trying to refresh this report getting 'processDPCommandsEx' API Error with below description.
'An internal error occurred while calling 'processDPCommandsEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270) (Error: INF )'
Still if tried to refresh report then get below error
An internal error occurred while calling 'getSessionInfosEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270) (Error: INF )
Do understand that these are generic error and also checked Q&A's and blogs for this kind of error but nothing worked so far.
Tried
If I try to run all queries one by one then it does not generate any error but when
try to run all query once it creates an error message.
Please let me know if you have any solution for this kind of case.
Regards,
SK
Hi Swapnil,
Can you please test if you observe the same behavior when disabling Parallel Queries? You can find the instructions in the "Workaround" section of SAP Note 2548061 - Internal error is shown when refreshing Web Intelligence documents based on multiple data ...
Thanks,
Bence

Hi Bence,
Did used workaround from SAP Note. It worked first time and then again report started giving the same error.
But after changing value of the "Maximum Parallel Queries" parameter to 0 we are able to refresh the report now.
Thanks a lot for directing to SAP Note.

SK
Hi SK,
Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad to hear that the issue has been resolved.
According to SAP Note 2548061, this product defect has been fixed in BI 4.2 SP5 Patch 100 and newer releases, so you might consider updating to the latest patch of SP5, which is Patch 5 currently to resolve this issue and take advantages of the Parallel Queries functionality.
I'd also suggest to check whether you can reproduce the same error with a newly created WebI document, as SAP Note 2548061 was written based on an issue with WebI documents that were originally created in BI 4.1.
Regards,
Bence
If report is based on multiple sources and all of then are Bex -- most likely source of the error is in BW, so you should look there.
If it happens in WRC as well as BILP -- this is report design or query design issue. maybe you're getting Bex limitation as well.
