Deployment issue of SDM

Hi expoerts,

I have installed the SAP netweaver CE trial vesion in my laptop and it starts successfully. In the sap netweaver developer studio, go to window->preference->SAP J2EE engine, I try to set the SAP J2EE engine host and port on local host, but error occurs, it informs No local engine could be found! So I try to link on remote host with host: localhost, port: 3901. It works well. But when I try to deploy something into the server, it says can not determine SDM host(is empty).

I think it is the application server's problem cause in the SAP Management Console I can not see the SDM. I think the SDM has not been installed. So how can I solve the problem. Thanks!
