MC81- Active version

Hi, while transfering demand there is tab option active or inactive version? how to use them and how will they effect planning?

Dear,

Active version is relevant for MRP run. So in MC81 we create the plan in inactive version then we do the - Break Down PG Plan MC76 and then transfer to the demand management through MC75 which is always in active version which you can check in MD63 also. Then we run MRP for product group through MD02 here active the tick for Product group. then check result in MD04.

Dear Yadav,

In SOP generally the plan will be given in inactive version and later on using

MC74 - the plan will be tranferred to demand management to active version for a material and

MC75 - the sales plan or prod.plan will be tranferred from a product group to demand management.
