Direct communication using WS adapter: Could not check logon data

Hi,

I am trying to configure direct communication and I am following the step by step guide by William Li.

When I am providing the user in Business System meant for distributing the configurations to the ABAP backend, I am getting the following error

Could not check logon data

.

Do I need to have the same user in PI as well with the relevant roles?

I cannot see u2018send Cache Notifications to backend' flag in Other attributes tab.

Secondly, where do we use the configuration URL. If my understanding is correct, we give the parameteres in the communication channel.
