When doing outbound logistics, ByD should propose the latest expire date

Hi Gurus,

we are working with identified stock (lots) and expiry dates.

To do the outbound logistics and to keep our warehouse corectly maintained with the expiry dates, we want ByD to autmatically select the lots with the next expiry date to the current date.

Is there any way to configure this in ByD?

As there is currently no information on the outbound logistic work center (without opening the identfy stock) to see the expiry date of a lot, that would be a great help.

Dear Klaus,

By setting up a FIFO Material Flow rule at the Sourcing Level in Site Level should propose those Logistics areas with the oldest stock date for Expiration Date ,Production Date and Last Putaway Date.

FIFO rule sorts Expiration Date, Production Date of Identified stock and Last Putaway Date.

This should resolve your query.
