Master data number range for more than one company code

Hi Gurus,

Please let me know, what are the consequences may arise if we use same number range for vendor, customer & material master for more than one company code.

Hi BIswajit,

I think there will be no consequences if you use the same number range for material, vendors and customers because master data is maintained at organization level so even if user by mistake chooses incorrect data then system will throw the error message, that data is not belonged to the company code.

Even one number range is quite good if you don't have huge volume of data.
