Hello experts,
just want to ask if it is possible to create LSMW to change a certain field under Internal activity of a network? lets say its the Percent field, which I wanted to change. Please advise.
Thanks,
marnee
Both LSMW and CNMASS are vaible solutions. However a lot depends what changes are of interest to user.
For eg: The mass change is a essentially tool which can be used to change certain field contents for several project objects. These already imply by the name in the transaction CNMASS, "Enter field values for mass changes" or "Select fields". Status changes to the project definition and to WBS elements are not
possible in the mass change. It it is only possible to release networks or network activities and to calculate or schedule networks. Also not all available fields are available for a mass change(partly for
technical or commercial reasons) for the individual objects. For example, the project profile mentioned in the documentation cannot of course be changed.
LSMW may alleviate some of such concerns, however obviously not ' project profile', depending upon the fields of interest.
Hope all this helps.

LSMW for 'Legacy System Migration Workbench' ?
the changable fields by external system I would check if PS BAPI support it. E.G. the field percent has relation to other fields, so that the update direct in database is not O.K.
Kind regards,
Zhenbo

Yes it is the legacy system migration workbench.
we're just using the PErcent field to store the beginning balance of the percentage of completion of a certain wbs. It is used for migrated contracts. there are erroneous data stored and we just wanted to correct that in easiest and quickest way. Please Help.
Thanks
