Low free physical memory in OS06

Hi Experts,

There is very low free physical memory(OS06) available in our PI system. The configured memory is 12 GB, but the free physical memory is 200 MB. It is getting decresed everyday. Is this normal?. What do I need to do to increse the free physical memory.Kindly suggest.

Hi,

Some times it would be problem with OS memory relese or ipc objects, go with this [Help Doc|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f6/3e63cd45bc4d6d80c4ee45d12f9884/content.htm] .What is your OS? I would also suggest you do a cleanipc every week at no business hours (sap should be down when you run cleanipc).

Hi Sundara,

This is not normal from 12GB to 200MB, it depends upon the system usage. Check OS06 when there is low load on the system. Then you will be able to analyze more on this.
