As per my client requirement they want to check the procurment type of material from E to F.But for this material already have production order in system with status REL, and PCNF ,PDLV like this .If i a changing the procurment type to this material wht will be the problem come and how to handle this problem ?
If you are changing the procurement type E to F the existing production order for that material will not have any impact. You can change very well from the next MRP run it will create PR.
Once you create the production order the BOM and Routing is copied into the Production order, so if you do any changes in master data it will not affect the existing production order.
I will suggest you take a cut off close all there order then then change the procrument from E to F then make BOM and routing in active that is best practice.
If you change the procrument type from E to F there will be no effect on existing order. But for new order system will create the planned order or purchase requisation. System will not allow you to convert it in to production order.
You can change the procurement type E to F, It will not create any Problem, For existing production order, already master data is readed as E In House production, U Can confirm the remaining qty in Productio order, it will not create any Problem
