Report Conversion Tool 4.2 Time estimate

Does anyone have a time estimate on converting deski/webi 3.1 reports to 4.2 running the RCT tool in 4.2 on a standalone machine for 100 selected reports? We have over 1000 reports to be converted but as recommended by SAP to convert reports in a batch of 100. Just trying to estimate the effort.

Thanks, Jawahar. I agree with your point but my question is about the estimate of just running the reports thru RCT.

I realize there will be work after the I run the reports thru the conversion tool which cannot be estimated.

If I select, let's say, 100 reports in the RCT for conversion, how long will the RCT run for before telling me x number fully converted, partially converted and not converted?

Timing varies between complex reports. If you are just looking for result of RCT for the conversion, either converted , failed or partially converted status, it will vary between 1-2 minutes per report.

There is no fair estimate of converting the deski to webi reports. There will be some issues while doing the conversion. Especially if your DESKI is based on FHSQL, not universe based. And also how difficult that report is, if the report has lot of formatting, that will addetime. d up
