Hi all,
I have one PRD server & one DR server. I have one confusion related to stand by control file for DR server. May i create the stand by control file on the running PRD server ? or i should create this while sap services are stop.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
You can create standby controlfile anytime on PRD Server.But why you need create
standby controlfile while you have already configured standby database.
If you need standby controlfile u can get it
SQL>ALTER DATABASE CREATE STANDBY CONTROLFILE AS '<PATH>/stbycf.ctl';
No Need to stop SAP services
