Availability check in Production Order

Hi,

Here is the question which I read in one of the PP blog and couldn't come to the conclusion, so could you guys please bare some time with this and help me to find it out.

Which Availability checks is not possible in Production Order ?

• Material

• Work Center

• Routing

• PRT

Hi,

Availability checks is carried out in Production Order for the material mainly and capacity also.

So you can do the Availability checks for

1. Material & PRT

1. Work Center ( capacity )

Routing is nothing but the flow of the production. its not related to the Availability checks.

In Production order you can calculate the material and PRT availability directly, in that the work center and routing is used for to calculate the capacity availability.

Madhan,

While creating or releasing the production order availability check is carried out for capacity, material & PRT.

So I would say that the work center & routing 'Availabilty check' is not carried out in the production order.

ATP just considered capacity and material.
