Permissions for a DB2 Data Source for Data Insight XI 3.0

What permissions are required for a DB2 source on Data Insight (XI 3.0) I had our DBA grant connect and read rights to the database, and the users are able to log in, but the data source comes up with 0 tables. With dbadm, I am able to view all the tables...

What exactly does Data Insight do to get a listing of all the metadata?

Found the problem. Apparently the users didn't have select permissions on SYSIBM.SYSTABLES which Insight uses to grab the listing of all the tables. After permission was granted, works great.

The individual users of the Data Insight GUI require Connect Database rights and when the connection is created to the DB2 source the users need to select IBM OLE DB Provider for DB2 in the Data Link Properties window. Was this the provider selected? Is the individual able to access from the GUI machine the DB2 source using the DB2 client installed?
