Permissions for a DB2 Data Source for Data Insight XI 3.0

What permissions are required for a DB2 source on Data Insight (XI 3.0) I had our DBA grant connect and read rights to the database, and the users are able to log in, but the data source comes up with 0 tables. With dbadm, I am able to view all the tables...

What exactly does Data Insight do to get a listing of all the metadata?
