Mapping : G/L account/ Account Determination Group/Product Category/ Product ID

Hello dear community members,

I need help to do the following mapping : all G/L accounts with Account Determination Group, Product Category and Products ID that are linked to it.

I managed to found all this fields for Fixed assets for instance on the report called "Report: G/L Accounts - Line Items".

However I don't manage to find on the reports the field 'Account determination Groupe" when it comes to Cash or Debts Accounts for instance. Hereby you'll find the example of the report I need :

I cannot see the example you provide, maybe you can attached a snapshot about the fields of the report you want. Per my understanding, you need a report of G/L accounts and their ADG, which are related to product categories and their products. Correct?

Thank you for your quick answer.

What you understood is correct. To be more precise : I need to have the full list of G/L accounts, and if exists the corresponding ADG related to product categories for both Materials and Services, and finally the products IDs.

Hello Eda,

I'm also looking for the same type of Mapping :

G/L accounts with Account Determination Group, Product Category and Products ID that are linked to it

AND also by Auxiliar Ledger (assets, liquidities, costs, etc)

It's really vital for our customers, especially in accounting, to have a whole overview of their mapping at one glance instead of having to navigate between many different windows.

Hello,

You are running the GL Account line item report and you see the Account determination groups only against Fixed Asset Subledger

GL Accounts and not towards other ledgers.Is that the concern?

I don't know if the GL Account line item report can be fixed, but my need is as Eda said earlier a report of G/L accounts and their ADG(Account determination groups), which are related to product categories and their products.

Sorry for the delay.

Actually I didn't figure out any solution. We tested one solution that one of my colleges got here: https://answers.sap.com/questions/665028/how-to-access-account-determination-group-data.html.

The tests we did were last year and didn't work. Maybe things changed since.

Let me know about the result if you test that.
