How i can track material with test certiciate subject for expirey

we have some materials/ Spare part received with Test certificate subject to expiry date. how we can register it in SAP/ MM and track it via report or reminder notification?

Hello AA,

Why not you go for Shelf life expiration functionality in MM, in this you need to maintain the manufacturing date and shelf life, system will update you about the expiration date through standard reports.

This only works on a batch basis

Aziz's desire is blocking the material after the relevant date.

Hi Suatcan,

I think he is asking for report in which he can trace all the material which are about to expire, and that can be mapped through SLED, now comes to expiration I think its a manual job even if we go for enhancement still we need to perform additional activity to block all the material.

Hi Aziz,

You can use the transaction code MM12

you can entry the date for which the change is scheduled that you want and you can entry the field that named x plant matl status. Please take a look at the screen shot.
