Email Alerts from BPFs

Hello Experts,

In BPF step,

I checked the check box for "Email Alerts".

and in AppSet paramets i set values for :

SMTPAUTH

SMTPPORT

SMTPSERVER

SMTPUSER

But still email alerts are not getting..

what else should set values apart from above..

plz help

    Dear Satish Kumar,

    What is the SAP BPC version you used ? As I know and implement, The SAP BPC 5.x version will send the email as confirmation from user which have changed the work status. And the option "Email Alerts" on BPF, it's not do something. You should also set the message of email in "Set Appset Parameters" page. Please you type the message in the "ApprovalStatusMsg" box and change to be "Yes" in the "ApprovalStatusMail" combobox.

      Hello Wandi,

      Thanks alot.

      Now email alert are working.

      But the message i given in the "ApprovalStatusMsg" box its not showing in mail.

      And after reviewer reviewing the BPF step. email is not showing as "Accepted" or "Rejected"

      Please help.

    Hello Experts,

    Can any body help!

    I configured Alerts from BPC for BPF approval process.

    But Alerts are not showing "Accpected" or "Rejected"

    i am working NW 7.5 In BPF step,

    I checked the check box for "Email Alerts".

    But still email alerts are not getting..

    what else should set values apart from and is there any settings need to done BI back end
