Hi,
we have a new requirement in GTS, Its government regulation that for any sales from US to hongkong where a tangile goods are sold, before fulfilling the order it should to go on a block in GTS and a import license from the customer receiving the goods needs to be assigned to the order.
So my question is there a way we can block an order in GTS where the ship to is a from hong kong and the product is a tangible one whcih can be identified based on the item category. Is there a way custom block can be set.
Regards,
Sunny
Sunny, the option I see to control the way you require is using legal control / licenses. You can use "item category / legal regulation" combination under "legal control", followed by restriction of "destination country" in "license determination". I have not tried this, but, it can be direction to try out.

Hi Nishant,
I configured as you suggested. I created a new legal regulation under compliance management, since i need to restrict this determination to only hardware SKU's, earlier the item category was not screened in GTS, now i allowed the item category to be screened so hardware items are identified based on the item category. Also in legal regulation configuration there is an option to assign only to specific SKU's so i used it to assign this LR to specific hardware SKU's.
Now my issue is
I have to restrict this check only for a specific destination/ship to country. How to restrict the license determination only for a specific country. For example, if an order has the hardware item category, then a new legal regulation would be activated and if the ship to country is a specific country say HK, i need to block this order.
If it is any other country then order should not be blocked.
How to acheive this, can you please throw some light on this.
Regards,
Sunny
