Inspection type 89

Hi all,

I need basic idea about inspection type 89,where is it used and is it stock irrelevant?If so how to make the stock posting after taking UD?

89 inspection are not stock relevant. it is mainly used to suffice all those inspection which is not trigered automaticaly. such as random inspection, some studies which incurs result or defects to be recorded

Thanks for replying.But how do i use this inspection type when i am not able to make stock posting after UD as the " inspection stock " tab does not come in the UD screen.

As mentioned earlier and also described by Sujit 89 inspection are used for analysis purpose. it doesnot take stock under consideration. if you want stock posting inspection make use of 05 inspection type

So the conclusion is mannual lots can not be made stock relevant,no stock posting can be done during UD for manual lots.right?

89 type of inspection is used when you do not want to do stock posting.

Examples of this lot could be say

Process Audit:You only Take UD & consider score of lot.UD

Product audit:You only Take UD & consider score of lot.UD

Testing of Material: Only take UD

and so on.......

In above cases you don't want to post the material to any stock.UD of this Material is suffiecient to carry out anlysis.

This Lot can only be created through QA01.
